About Me
I am a veteran high school math teacher with 30 years of experience teaching all levels of students and subjects. I have taught every course offered in most high schools from pre-algebra through AP Calculus and IB Math. My classrooms ranged from 9th grade to 12th grades students including non-native speakers and those with learning disabilities. In addition, I have taught online high school math courses in the summers and taught fellow math teachers while working for the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics.

Throughout my career as a high school math teacher, I have worked one-on-one with students starting from the age of 10 through freshmen in college. Before I begin a session, I get to know students habits, weaknesses, strengths and evaluate their math proficiency. I then work to fill in gaps, improve their current conceptual understanding, and teach them to apply new methods to different kinds of problems. My goal is to build a student's skills and confidence to the point where they will not need my support.
